Classics - Vangelis

Have you Heard Vangelis?

This song is called Conquest of Paradise, it was part of the soundtrack of the film 1492 by Riddley Scott. The song was a huge success and it's choir line is still remembered today.

The lyrics of the song are written in pseudo-latin and are as follows:
In noreni per ipe
In noreni cora
Tira mine per ito
Ne nomina
In romine tirmeno
Ne romine to fa
Imaginas per meno
Per imentira
The author of the song is known as Vangelis, or by his real name, Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou.

Vangelis
He is a greek composer born in Volos but currently residing in France. His main styles are film scores, electronic music, prog-rock, ambient, classical and experimental.
One of the great music scores he produced is the Blade Runner score from 1994, one that i suggest you listen, although my favorite is  L'Apocalypse Des Animaux.
